Travelling solo is one of the best ways to experience Angkor, and a professional photoshoot lets you take home more than just phone selfies. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, marking the start of a new adventure, or simply want beautiful photographs of yourself in one of the world’s most incredible places, I’d love to help.
Because we can focus entirely on you. Every itinerary is personalised around what you’d like to see, the style of photographs you’re after, and the pace you’d like to explore. Without needing to balance the preferences of a group, we can often visit a wider variety of locations, spend more time where the light is at its best, and create a collection of images that feels truly personal.
Rather than posing you throughout the session, I aim to create natural, relaxed photographs that capture both your personality and the atmosphere of Angkor. From iconic sunrise views at Angkor Wat to quiet jungle temples and hidden corners away from the crowds, I’ll guide you every step of the way while keeping the experience enjoyable and stress-free.
As a Siem Reap photographer with years of experience photographing at Angkor, I know where to find the best light, the quietest locations, and the perfect timing to create photographs you’ll enjoy looking back on for years to come.
Most people I photograph tell me they’re a little nervous beforehand because they don’t normally enjoy being in front of the camera.
The good news is that you don’t need any experience.
Rather than asking you to hold uncomfortable poses, I keep the session relaxed and enjoyable. I’ll give you as much or as little direction as you need, helping you feel comfortable while leaving plenty of room for natural moments to unfold.
My goal is for the photoshoot to feel like part of your holiday rather than something separate from it. We’ll take our time, explore beautiful locations together, and create photographs that genuinely reflect your experience in Cambodia.
Every package offers something different, and you can absolutely create beautiful photographs whether you choose a 30 minute mini session or a full day experience.
That said, if you’re travelling solo, I often recommend considering one of my longer photoshoots.
Many of my favourite sessions have been with solo travellers who chose a 3 hour or Full Day Photoshoot. Without needing to consider anyone else’s schedule or preferences, we have the freedom to explore more of Angkor, visit a wider variety of temples, and make the most of the changing light throughout the day.
A longer session also creates a much more varied gallery. We can photograph iconic locations like Angkor Wat, discover quieter temples hidden in the jungle, change outfits between locations, and simply slow down enough to enjoy the experience rather than rushing from place to place.
If you’re investing in travelling all the way to Cambodia, a longer photoshoot is a wonderful opportunity to create a collection of photographs that truly reflects your journey.
For 3 Hour and Full Day Photoshoots, I also recommend adding private transport. Travelling between temples in an air-conditioned SUV means we can comfortably visit locations further apart, carry spare clothing and personal belongings, and spend more time taking photographs instead of walking between temples.
One of my favourite ways to photograph solo travellers is by combining Angkor with a session at their hotel.
Siem Reap has some of the most beautiful boutique hotels and luxury resorts in Southeast Asia, and they often provide a completely different atmosphere to the temples. Elegant architecture, tropical gardens, peaceful pools and beautiful natural light all make wonderful settings for relaxed portraits.
Many guests choose to begin or finish their photoshoot at their hotel, creating a gallery that captures both the adventure of exploring Angkor and the quieter moments of their holiday.
If you’re staying somewhere special, I’d be happy to help plan a route that includes both locations.
Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, documenting your solo adventure, or simply want beautiful photographs from your time in Cambodia, I’d love to help create a photoshoot that’s tailored to you.
Every session is personalised around your interests, preferred locations, and the style of photography you love. If you’re unsure which package is right for you, I’m always happy to offer advice before you book.
Choose the package that best suits your trip, and let’s start planning your solo photoshoot at Angkor.

He works great with kids and made it a fun and playful experience for our family photo shoot at Angkor Wat. Highly recommended! KaiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Booked a photoshoot with Geoff at Angkor Wat during a short trip to Siem Reap. We were looking for something fun and fuss free, and the 1h photoshoot delivered! We met at 630am and Geoff eased us into the shoot. It was natural, relaxed, and fun. Nothing felt too rushed nor artificial. The photos were delivered about a week later and they turned out brilliant. Geoff over-delivered with his professionalism, friendliness, and photos! Thanks Geoff! Andrea Breakwell prev TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are definitely going back and will book Geoff again ErikaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. had photos taken in so many places around the world, but nothing — nothing — compares to what Geoff created in Cambodia. Every frame feels alive — the light, the mood, the detail. It’s like he saw something in me that I didn’t even know was there. These aren’t just photos. They’re art. I’ve never felt more powerful, radiant, and at ease in front of a camera. Geoff has this incredible ability to direct subtly, make you feel completely yourself, and somehow turn that into something cinematic. I walked away with the best photos of my life — truly. If you ever get the chance to work with him, don’t hesitate. He’s exceptional. F. C.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Samir PatelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a wonderful time with Geoff in Siem Reap. Booking him is a fantastic decision as you are not just choosing a great photographer but an experienced local who knows where the hidden gems are.
Absolutely. If you’d like to include an outfit change, I recommend choosing one of my longer photoshoots. It gives us more flexibility to change between locations while creating a wider variety of images. If you’ve added private transport, you can simply leave your spare clothes in the vehicle.
The only additional costs to consider are transport and your Angkor temple pass.
Temple passes are required to enter Angkor Archaeological Park and must be purchased separately. I recommend buying your pass online at least five days in advance to avoid any issues, though you may purchase them close to the shoot time if needed. You can purchase your Angkor Archeological Park ticket here.
Transport is not included. You are welcome to arrange your own or transport can be arranged easily when making your booking – just let us know.
If you decide to book yourself, I recommend booking private transport services in Siem Reap through Siem Reap Airport Transfers
Post Production will be included for the number of images in your package. All images will be edited to the standard of the images on this website. You may choose up to 5 images once delivered for extra post production free of charge. If you need extra work done such as skin re-touching or things removed or any excess post production, there will be an additional fee. No extra post production is seen in any of the images on this website.
Early morning photoshoots in Siem Reap offer the best conditions for high-quality photography, especially at Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. The light is softer and more flattering, temperatures are cooler, and humidity is lower, which means you look more comfortable and natural in your photos.
Starting early also allows us to avoid large tour groups and crowds. This is particularly important for Angkor Wat sunrise photoshoots and temple photography, where popular locations become busy very quickly after sunrise.
While the final start time is always your choice, I generally recommend beginning your Siem Reap photoshoot between 5:30am and 7:30am for the best results.
Afternoon and later-day photoshoots are also possible. If you prefer a different time of day, please get in touch and I will help plan a photoshoot schedule that suits you while still achieving the best possible images.
Payment is due in full in cash (USD) on the day.
Payment can also be made via PayPal but there is a 10% additional charge.
Payment can also be made by Wise Transfer, again with a 10% charge.
If you wish to pay by another method please discuss with me first. All prices are in USD.
Your photos will be delivered digitally via a private online gallery, where you can easily view, download, and share your high-resolution images.
The gallery works on desktop and mobile, and you will have full access to download your images for personal use.
Your photographs are usually delivered within around three weeks.
I don’t like rushing the editing process. My goal is to create photographs that you’ll still love many years from now, rather than simply delivering them as quickly as possible.
Some locations, particularly Angkor Wat, often require extensive editing to remove other visitors from the background, so delivery may occasionally take a little longer. I reserve the right to extend the delivery time if needed to ensure every image meets the standard I’d be happy to put my name to.
Dress comfortably for the heat and humidity while respecting Angkor temple dress rules. Shoulders and knees must be covered at all times. Wedding dresses, formal suits, and similar attire are not permitted inside the temple complex.
Closed shoes are strongly recommended, ideally waterproof, as temple paths can be uneven and slippery. Choose lightweight, breathable fabrics that dry quickly and do not easily show sweat in the tropical climate.
Your edited photos are backed up until you have successfully downloaded your images and confirmed that everything has been received and is satisfactory.
After this point, long-term storage and backup of the files becomes your responsibility. While reasonable care is taken during the delivery period, I cannot guarantee indefinite storage of image files.
For this reason, I strongly recommend downloading your photos promptly and backing them up to multiple locations once received.
Siem Reap Photographer is a premium photography service, and pricing reflects the experience, time, and professional equipment required to consistently deliver high-quality images at Angkor Wat and other temples.
If this service is outside your budget, you may wish to consider Angkor Wat Photographer, which works with a network of local photographers offering more budget-friendly photoshoot options at the Angkor temples. This can be a good alternative if price is the primary factor.
If you would like guidance choosing a photographer that better fits your budget, feel free to get in touch and I can point you in the right direction.
