FAQ’s About Your Photoshoot in Siem Reap & Angkor Wat

  • Are there any other costs to consider?

The only other costs to consider when booking your Angkor Wat photoshoot are transport and your temple tickets.

You can purchase a temple pass here. I recommend purchasing at least 5 days in advance in case of any issues.

You may either book a car (or tuk tuk if preferred) when you make your booking or you can make your own arrangements.

Hiring a car with us costs around $35 for pick up and drop off at your hotel and transport around the temples.

We are more than happy to give advice if you plan on making your own transport arrangements.

  • How Can I pay?

Payment is due in full in cash on the day. Payment can also be made via PayPal but there is a 10% additional charge. If you wish to pay by another method please discuss with me first. All prices are in USD.

  • What Should I wear?

Dress to be comfortable and for the heat and humidity, but shoulders and knees must be covered. No wedding dresses or suits are allowed.

I recommend wearing closed shoes, waterproof even better (optional).

Please read the Angkor visitor code of conduct here. You may not cover up with a scarf. Clothing changes should be done in a car or bathroom which will be a walk away from the temples. Matching colors are fine - please see my gallery for inspiration.

  • Is Post Production/Editing the photos Included?

Post Production will be included for the number of images in your package. All images will be edited to the standard of the images on this website. You may choose up to 5 images once delivered for extra post production free of charge. If you need extra work done such as skin re-touching or things removed or any excess post production, there will be an additional fee. No extra post production is seen in any of the images on this website.

  • How will I receive my Photos?

Images will be delivered digitally and take on average 5 business days to be delivered. I reserve the right to take longer during very busy periods.

Express delivery can be arranged on a small number of photos or for all of them for an extra fee.

If this is an issue please discuss with me before and we’ll work something out : )

  • Do you Save our photos in case we lose them?

Image Backups will be kept until you have downloaded your images and have confirmed that you are happy with them. After this point is is your responsibility to back them up.

  • Why do you recommend starting so early?

Not everyone is an early riser, but to deliver the best quality images we should start early for the beautiful light, the lower heat and humidity which makes you less sweaty, and beating the crowds.

Of course your start time is up to you, but I always recommend an early start, anywhere from 5.30am until 7.30am.

Afternoon shoots are also possible - please speak with me and let me arrange a shoot that best suits you.
